Replacing a garage door is one of the most affordable home improvements on the 2025 Cost vs. Value report and is the top ROI nationally. According to this year’s findings, a $4,672 investment will net $12,507, or 268%, on average, at resale nationwide.

Real estate experts say that focusing on curb appeal not only gets homeowners the biggest bang for their buck, but projects like installing a new garage door require minimal preparation and can be completed in less than a day when they hire a professional garage door dealer.

Helping Our Community After Hurricane Helene

When Hurricane Helene struck in October 2024, Lakelands Overhead Door stepped up to support families both locally and in the hard-hit North Carolina area. Our team gathered essential life supplies — including propane tanks, heaters, generators, gas cans, gasoline, and diesel fuel — and distributed them throughout the Lakelands area. Owner James Long personally transported numerous loads of supplies to some of the hardest-hit areas in North Carolina, ensuring help reached those in urgent need.
In addition, James’ other business, Lakelands Outdoor, partnered with the Greenwood YMCA to help clear and haul away storm debris from their Summer Day Camp area, restoring safe spaces for children.
This effort reflects our company’s commitment to not only serving customers but also supporting the community when it matters most.
